Quilts
I wanted my clients to love their quilts. My first client once told me “whenever I can’t sleep I pull that quilt over me and fall asleep fast, maybe because of the love that went into creating it.”
That’s how I’d wanted my clients to feel when they put their quilt on the bed.
I had several clients, when we moved away from Vegas I don’t have the same area to design and build great quilts, so these days I’m designing pillows, tees, and other items that bring me joy.
My Story
It just began as a result of people asking to have a quilt made for them. It was so rewarding that it didn’t feel like work.
There is isn’t much money in quilt making, but it’s a very rewarding way of life.
I completely understand why my Granny loved it so much, she spent her whole life creating beautiful handmade quilts. She taught me and I’m passing it on to my grandchildren.
Then, in 2020 the COVID-19 virus happened and I began to design pillows and sell them on Etsy, then moved into my own E commerce site with Shopify. It’s a great addition to my quilt making, and I love thinking up great designs for new pillows. Visit my Pillow Shop and check them out.
